Thick beef stew. Remove the lid off and simmer for the last 15-20min to thicken further. The longer it simmers the better.
1. In a bag combine flour, garlic powder, onion powder, 1/2 the pepper, and beef. Shake until well coated.
2. In a large pot, cook beef in oil over medium heat until brown.
3. Dissolve bouillon in water and pour into pot.
4. Stir in ketchup, A-1, worcestershire sauce, rosemary, parsley, the remaining pepper, Bring to a boil, then reduce heat, cover and simmer 1 hour.
5. Stir potatoes, carrots, celery, and onion into the pot.
6. Dissolve cornstarch into cold water and stir into stew. Cover and simmer 1 hour more.
