Suggest a better descriptionFire up half of the gas burners. Clean the chicken and season the chicken with the rub. Lower chicken onto the half-filled can of beer (open the can of beer). You can add a sprig of thyme (rosemary or sage) into the beer can. Place chicken on the cool side of the grill, use the legs a a tripod. Check the chicken in 1-hour, cook to 160-165. 4lb chicken will likely take about 1-1 1/2 hours. Cool for 10-minutes before cutting
