Is it a bread? A cookie? A cake? These amazing bars are like a hybrid of all three.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat an 8" square baking pan with vegetable oil spray.
In a large bowl, mix together oats, flour, coconut, baking soda, baking powder, and salt.
In a bowl of a stand mixture, cream butter and brown sugar. Add egg and water and mix until combined. Pour wet ingredients into dry and mix until just combined.
Place batter in pan, leaving 1/2 cup batter reserved in bowl. Press frozen berries on top and dot with remaining batter. Bake in preheated oven 40 minutes or until golden brown.
Let pan cool on a wire rack before cutting.
