Suggest a better descriptionBrown hamburger with onion and cabbage. Season as desired. Let cool in fridge while bread dough rises. (I used a 3# quantity of hamburger buns, then the next day another 3# quantity).
Use 2.5-3 oz quantities of dough, flatten into rounds, then put 1/3 cup of cooled filling on top, pinch dough closed around filling. Let rise 30 minutes. Brush with egg wash. Bake at 375 degrees 17-25 minutes. (I used my bun pans and then half sheets lined with silpats).
These freeze well. Allow to cool then wrap individually in foil and freeze.
