Cake Recipe
1. In Mixer, Mix butter 2-3 minutes until soft under high speed.
2. Add 1 cup of sugar slowly to mixture until soft.
3. When it is fluffy, and white, add yolks one at a time, continue mixing for 3-4 minutes more.
4. Add flavors (vanilla/almond/liquor) to mixture and add flour slowly while mixing with low speed.
5. In another container mix the egg whites until it grows and looks shiny. Add 1 cup of sugar. Mix at medium/high until it is a light meringue.
6. Combine the two mixtures together slowly using hands to fold the egg whites into the original mixture until thoroughly mixed.
7. Grease the cakepan with butter, pour mixture in.
8. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
9. Bake at 350 degrees for one hour.
10. Test with a toothpick for readiness.
11. Create a syrup with sugar, water, and brandy or rum. Cook until it is a syrup. When cake comes out, pour on top fo the cake to be absorbed inside the cake.
12. Decorate/frost as you like.
