A South African curry bake.
Taken from the St. Ninians - Ladies Fellowship cookbook 'Out Of Our Kitchen'.
Brown onions in hot oil and add curry powder and sugar.
Remove from heat, add jam, grated apple and vinegar.
Mix mince with bread soaked in hot milk.
Add salt and curry mixture. Mix well.
Put mixture into a suitable casserole dish.
Cook slowly in oven at 170 C for 50 minutes.
Remove from oven and top with 3 eggs beaten with 200 ml milk, salt and pepper.
Bake in moderate oven (180 C) until brown.
Serve with rice.
