Quick simple dessert
Mix cornstarch, cold water and salt in 1-quart saucepan. Stir in grenadine syrup. Heat to boiling; reduce heat to low. Cook about 3 minutes, stirring constantly, until thickened.
Stir in brandy and peaches. Cool slightly. Serve warm, or cover and refrigerate until chilled. Serve peach mixture over ice cream.
