Chopped green pepper and onion and crumbled bratwurst in a chicken stock.
First preheat oil dutchoven or soup pot on medium heat until oil smokes lightly. As pot is warming chop onion and pepper. Once oil is ready add pepper and onion to the pot. Sauté until onions and translucent. Uncase the bratwurst and crumble sausage into green pepper and onion mixture. Cook sausage until brown. Add 1/2 can of beer to deglaze the pot. Add the chicken stock and bring to a boil. Once you reach the boil add your potatoes. After potatoes have cooked for 10-15 minutes add in the cabbage. Cook until you reached the desired tenderness of the cabbage.
It's a soup, you can't mess it up. Experiment with different types of sausage and enjoy!
