Suggest a better descriptionMMMMM---------------------SOY LEMON DRESSING-------------------------- 3 tb Soy sauce; to 1/4 cup 2 tb Fresh lemon juice 1 1/2 tb Minced garlic 1 1/2 tb Sugar Mix the dressing ingredients together. Cut off the florets from the broccoli, and separate into about the same size. Peel the stems, and slice on the diagonal into 1 1/2 inch thick pieces. Steam the broccoli for about 8-10 minutes, or until tender. Drain. Place the broccoli into a serving bowl, add the dressing, toss lightly, and serve. Per serving: 29 Calories; less than one gram Fat (3% calories from fat); 1g Protein; 7g Carbohydrate; 0mg Cholesterol; 523mg Sodium Food Exchanges: 1/2 Vegetable NOTES : Broccoli is especially popular for combating summer heat. Chinese doctors feel it is very beneficial for the eyes, and it is often prescribed for eye inflammations and nearsightedness.
