Christmas cookie recipe from Mom.
Melt chocolate and butter in double boiler, stirring constantly.
Beat eggs until foamy. Ad sugar 2 T. at a time, and beat constantly until mixture is very thick. 5 minutes with a high-speed mixer. Mixture must be well beaten as the eggs, not the flour, thicken it.
Blend in chocolate. Add flour, baking powder, cinnamon and salt. Stir in pecans and vanilla.
Drop from teaspoon onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes or until set when lightly touched.
Note: start with a wire beater...may switch to regular beater if needed.
