Suggest a better descriptionPreheat oven to 350 degrees. Coat 8x8 pan with oil or butter.
Toast nuts in pan over medium to high heat, add cranberries and toast for a minute. Remove from heat.
In large bowl whip egg whites until foamy, but not stiff. Add water and applesauce, whip some more. Gently fold in brownie mix until absorbed, fold in nuts and cranberries.
Add batter to pan, bake for 25 minutes or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool on rack and cut into 12 pieces.
