Longer rising period may be better than short cycle.
Into baking pan pour milk and butter; add sugar, eggs and salt. measure flour into pan; sprinkle yeast over flour. Insert pan securely into unit; close lid. Select "DOUGH" setting; then press "START:. The "COMPLETE" light will flash when dough is finished.
Preheat oven to 375F. Remove pan from unit; pull out kneading rod. Turn dough out onto lightly floured surface. On lightly floured surface shape dough into a ball. Divide into quarters. Cut each quarter into 6 pieces. Shape each piece into a ball; place one ball in each of 24 greased muffin cups. (don't need to grease the specialized muffin pans). Optional glaze: beat together egg and water. Brush generously over shaped rolls.
Cover rolls; let stand 15 min. Bake in 375F oven for 20-25 min. Immediately remove from pans; cool on racks.
