Suggest a better description1. First prepare the cornbread as per package instructions, using butter to grease the pan.
2. Bake as instructed and allow to cool.
3. Next, in a 4-quart pot, heat remaining butter on high heat.
4. Add onion, bell pepper, celery, garlic and parsley; saute for 5 minutes.
5. Add ground pork and saute until pork begins to brown.
6. Break up the pork as much as possible.
7. Add the ground beef and stir well, breaking up as much as possible.
8. Continue to brown meat until totally cooked.
9. Remove from heat and drain out excess oil.
10. Add chicken stock and return to high heat.
11. Bring to boil and boil for 10 minutes.
12. Add cream of mushroom soup and stir until blended.
13. Add salt and cajun seasoning; stir well.
14. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 20 minutes.
15. Remove from heat.
16. In a large mixing bowl, crumble cornbread well.
17. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
18. Slowly mix the crumbled cornbread and meat mixture until blended.
19. Add milk to the mixture and mix well.
20. Next, add beaten eggs and green onions and mix until totally blended.
21. Grease a 9x13" baking dish.
22. Spread cornbread mixture evenly in pan and bake fro 25-30 minutes, or until center is firm.
