Suggest a better descriptionSauté onions in olive oil over medium high until translucent. Add garlic and sauté for a few more minutes. Take off heat, add wine to deglaze. Add tomatoes and tomato paste, seasonings (light on the salt, as it will concentrate as sauce cooks down). Bring to a boil, reduce to simmer, add bay leaves and simmer to reduce. Taste, adjust seasonings.
