Only 3 ingredients and works perfectly every time.
Preheat oven to 450 degrees and heat a cast iron pan on high until very hot.
Rub salmon fillets all over with vegetable oil and then sea salt.
Once pan is hot put salmon fillet skin side down in the pan and cook for 2 minutes. Turn on fan as there will be smoke.
After 2 minutes put pan with fillets in the oven and cook for 10 minutes.
Check for doneness and enjoy.
