Suggest a better descriptionCook ground beef until cooked through. Set aside. Saute onion, carrots, garlic, parsley, and basil in olive oil for 5-8 minutes, until golden brown. Add bacon bits, potatoes, frozen peas, and chicken broth. Add the hamburger back in and enough water to cover. Simmer 15-20 minutes, or until potatoes are tender. Add cubed Velveeta.
In a separate mixing bowl, whisk flour and sour cream, and slowly add in the milk, while still mixing, until lumps are dissolved.
Add the flour mixture into the soup. Heat again to a simmer Enjoy!
