Suggest a better descriptionCrumb crust: Combine all ingredients. Press into bottom and part way up the sides of an 8 inch springform pan. Set aside.
Soak gelatin in 1/4 cup of cold water and set aside. Melt butter in a saucepan. Turn off heat and blend in the flour. Add 1/2 cup sugar. Stir in the sour cream and lightly beaten egg yolks. Cook over low heat, stirring occasionally, until fairly smooth. Add grated cheese; stir over low heat until cheeses is melted. Remove from heat; stir in soaked gelatin until dissolved. Cool. Add vanilla and grated lemon rind. Beat egg whites until stiff; add 1/2 cup sugar; beat until stiff. Fold into cheese mixture. Whip cream and fold into the cheese mixture. Pour into crumb crust. Chill in refrigerator several hours.
