Pie from Jenny. Our favorite. Very EASY and QUICK and WONDERFUL.
Cook cherries, sugar/flour and coloring in a sauce pan til hot and thickened some. NOTE: Mix the flour in with the sugar and mix it well so it won't lump up when you put it in cherries. Put wire rack about half way up so pie crusts will brown. (Depending on your oven, may have to cook longer than 30 minutes... like 40 minutes... to get crusts to brown). Pour mixture in a deep pie crust uncooked.
Put regular thawed pie crust on wax paper on counter and flatten it and cut it into strips and criss cross them over the top of the pie. Put some globs of oleo on top and sprinkle sugar on this and cook til brown. About 30 minutes.
375 degrees.
