This recipe came from my mother's friend Maggie Johnston.
Melt 2 T butter in a skillet, saute the livers until just rare. Saute apple and onion until soft. Blend. Add 1/4 c Madera. Blend again. Cool. Add 1/2 pound soft butter and blend in. Chill and serve.
Notes: original didn't say what to do with the apple and the onion so it's a guess... Ask Mum?
