Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Roast marrow bones for 15 minutes. Place all ingredients into a large pot. Fill pot with water and bring to low boil. Skim foam from top of broth as needed. Add salt and pepper to taste. Partually cover pot and reduce to a simmer for 1 1/2+ hours.
