Heat oil in large skillet over med-high heat. Add garlic and cook 1 min. Season chicken and add to skillet. Brown for about 3 minutes.
Add broccoli to skillet, cover and cook 2 minutes. Add 1 C of broth, cover and simmer until chicken is cooked through about 5 minutes.
Dissolve cornstarch in remaining 1/2 C of broth and add misture to skillet. Simmer until thickened, stirring constantly about 1 min. Serve over rice.
