Suggest a better description1. Mix flour, baking powder, salt and pepper. Toss chicken drums and flats in flour mixture. Place chicken pieces on an air frying rack. Air fry at 450 degrees for 14 minutes. Turn chicken pieces over and air fry for 10 more minutes.
2. Make chili oil sauce while chicken is cooking. Warm grape seed oil and Szechuan Chili Crisp Oil (minus the red pepper flakes) together in a small skillet. Add garlic, shallot, ginger, Gochuchang, and salt. Sautee for a minute or two to release the flavors into the oil, but DO NOT let the garlic burn or it becomes bitter. Stir in the 2 tablespoons of red pepper flakes from the Chili Crisp Oil at the last minute to warm. Remove from the heat and stir in Hoisin sauce. Let cool.
3. Toss cooked chicken drums and flats in the chili oil to coat.
