Try this Chili Pepper Honey Barbecue Sauce recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better descriptionHeres a spicy bbq sauce that you can regulate by using sweet and hot or just hot chili sauce(Indonesian?). If the chili sauce isnt hot enough for you (I use Bachris Sambal Tumis?), a few Thai peppers work well. Great on pork ribs. In sauce pan, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add onion. saute until soft, about 2-3 minutes. Add garlic and ginger. saute for 1 minute, making sure not to brown garlic. Add honey, chili sauce, chicken stock, cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, Chili Pepper Paste, Garlic Chili Pepper Sauce and lime. Simmer until thick, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
