This is my version of Chilli, I only ever put kidney beans in for I am doing it for other people.
Fry off steak mince, add the rest of the ingredients except treacle and bring to a boil. Once boil reached turn down heat to a simmer, cover with lid. Cook for a couple of hours, stirring occasionally. After a couple of hours take of lid and turn heat up slightly to reduce liquid. When thickened add treacle.
