Suggest a better description1. In a large stockpot, heat the oil over medium-high heat. Add the ground beef and cook until browned. Drain off fat and transfer beef to a plate.
2. Return empty pot to the stove. Add the red and green bell peppers and next 6 ingredients. Cook over medium-high heat for 8-10 mins, stirring often.
3. Return the meat to the pot. Stir in the lager and next 4 ingredients; simmer over low heat for 2 hours.
4. Ladle into bowls. Serve with your favourite toppings like sour cream, shopped scallions and shredded cheddar.
