This is an old family favorite. It is like a brownie in a pie form. Who wouldn't love that? You can also add pecans to this recipe as well. I use about a 1/4 of a cup if I add them.
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
In a medium bowl, mix together the flour, cocoa, and salt. In a separate bowl, mix the eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla, and milk. Combine the two mixtures and mix well. Pour into the unbaked pie shell.
Bake 35 minutes (with a crust protector ring) or until set (very little, if any, jiggling in the batter). Remove from the oven and let it cool completely before cutting and serving. Top with Ready Whip Topping or your favorite whipped cream topping.
