Heat oven to 375 degrees.
Mix shortenings, sugars, eggs and vanilla thoroughly. Measure flour by dipping or sifting. Stir dry ingredients together; blend in. Mix in chocolate chips. Drop round tablespoons of dough about 2" apart on ungreased baking sheet. Bake 10 minutes or until delicately browned.
