Easy and very chocolatey recipe. Modified by me from a recipe in Martha-Stewart.com
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
Using a mixer, mix together butter and sugar. Then add egg and vanilla and thoroughly incorporate. Then add flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt on low speed. If the mixture is not spreadable, add a tablespoon of water or two and mix.
Transfer (it should not be pour-able) in a 10" non stick, oven proof skillet. Spread mixture out in a pan evenly using an offset spatula. Bake until the center is just set, 20-22 minutes.
Let cool approx 10-15 minutes, then turn out onto a rack to cool. After 30 minutes re-invert onto a plate. Serve with ice cream or a dash of powdered sugar!
Simple and delicious!
Very easy and very delicious.
