Suggest a better descriptionHeat oven to 450?. Prepare pie crust according to package directions using 9" deep dish pie pan. Bake for 9-11 min or until light golden brown. Cool.
In medium saucepan, combine sugar, cornstarch and salt; mix well. Gradually stir in milk. Add chocolate chips and egg yolks. Cook over medium heat until mixture is thickened stirring constantly. Remove from heat. Stir in cream cheese, beating until smooth. Cover surface with plastic wrap. Refrigerate until just cool (1 hour). Beat whipping cream and vanilla until soft peaks form. Reserve 2 cups for topping. Fold remaining into chocolate mixture. Spoon into shell. Refrigerate 6-8 hours.
This will have extra filling left over that you can either put in a bowl and eat as pudding or fill a small pie plate with another prepared crust.
