Suggest a better descriptionSet oven to 350'. In a large bowl, beat butter and sugar until creamy. Stir in the corn syrup, vanilla and oats. Blend. Pat the batter into a greased 9X13 baking pan. Bake for 20 minutes or until edges are golden. Cool on a rack, then cover and refrigerate.
Place chocolate chips and peanut butter in a pan and stir over low heat until melted together and smooth. Spread over the crust and sprinkle with the chopped peanuts. Refrigerate again until the topping is firm, and then cut into bars. Should be stored, covered, in the refrigerator.
