Suggest a better descriptionTo begin prepare the garlic, cilantro, onion powder, and soy sauce in a small bowl to let the flavors blend. This will be the topping for the tuna steaks once they are seared.
Heat your griddle or pan to a very high temperature as you want to sear the tuna quickly.
Coat your tuna with the ground pepper and the ground sea salt to taste.
Once the griddle is extremely hot pour on a small amount of oil where you will be placing the tuna. Put the tuna on the oil and it will sizzle and cook very quickly. Do not leave unattended as it cooks very fast. Flip the tuna steak and cook to desired temperature.
Remove from heat and place on a plate and cut into very thin slices. Pour the garlic cilantro topping on the tuna and serve on a bed of lettuce with Julianne sliced cucumbers.
