Try this CKP's Breakfast Casserole recipe, or contribute your own.
Suggest a better descriptionBrown sausage and drain.
Butter both sides of bread. Line 9x13 pan with bread.
Sprinkle sausage over bread. Sprinkle cheese over sausage.
Beat eggs, milk, and dry mustard mixture together.
Pour egg mixture over top of casserole. Use a fork to allow mixture to saturate casserole.
Cover and let sit overnight in refrigerator.
Cook 50-60 minutes, on 350 degrees, until casserole appears set.
Note: may use spinach, peppers or other vegetables in place or along with sausage.
This is a great breakfast casserole recipe! I tried it using the sausage, spinach, tomatoes, and peppers. I would like to try it with just the veggies one time but I'm afraid it would lose some of the kick from the hot sausage.
