Suggest a better descriptionSauté onions in olive oil. Add garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Brown ground beef & pork. Add wine. Boil under wine disappears. Add tomato paste. Cook for a few minutes. Add tomato sauce, sugar, basil, italian seasoning, salt, and 2 tablespoons of parsley. Sauté for a while.
Make NYT Classic Marinara. Add all but 1 cup marinara to meat sauce.
Combine Ricotta, egg, pecorino, ¼ cup mozzarella, and 2 tablespoons parsley.
Layer 1 cup marinara, noodles, meat sauce, noodles, ricotta & mozzarella/parmesan, noodles, repeat.
Final layer cheese over meat sauce.
