Carb free egg based bread. Makes great buns and wraps.
1. Preheat oven to 300 degrees
2. Separate eggs in two bowls.
3. In one bowl, mix egg yolks, cottage cheese and splenda until smooth.
4. In the other bowl, whip egg whites and cream of tartar on high speed until strong peaks.
5. Carefully, fold both mixtures together.
6. Lightly spray 2 cookie sheets with fat free cooking spray.
7. With a large spoon, scoop the mixture into 10 even rounds on the cookie sheet (about the size of a hamburger bun).
8. Bake on middle rack. Watch carefully until golden brown. Should take 30-40 minutes give or take.
9. Remove from pans and cool.
10.Once cool, place in ziplock bags overnight. Will become soft like bread.
Be patient the first time you make these. I have added 1/4 cocoa to a batch and they came out amazing FYI.
