Suggest a better descriptionMicrowave butter or margarine and shortening in medium glass mixing bouw on high (full power) about 1 minute. Stir in cocoa until smooth; blend in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; beat well. Stir in remaining ingrediants. Spread batter into lightly greased 8 inch round glass baking dish. Microwave on medium (1/2) for 7 minutes, turning 1/4 turn every 3 minutes. Microwave on high (full power) for 3 to 4 minutes, or until puffed and dry on top. Cool until set. Cut into wedges. Serve wedges topped with ice cram and chocolate syrup if desired. **note; I leave out the nuts and the ice cream [am I nuts???] and they are still a treat, and as I call them my lazy brownies, I even skip the turning bit, but keep an eye on them as over cooking makes them dry.
