In a mixing bowl cream butter and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
Add flour, condensed milk and vanilla. Mix well. Stir in chocolate chips and walnuts.
Shape into 1 inch balls, place on a wax paper lined baking sheet. Loosely cover and refrigerate for 1-2 hours until firm.
In a microwave safe bowl, melt candy coating and stir until smooth. Dip balls into the coating and place on wax paper lined baking sheet. Refrigerate until firm. If desired, remelt the excess chocolate and drizzle over the candies.
Store in the freezer or fridge.
