Old-fashioned ingredients for a taste of times past
1. Prepare the mashed potatoes normally. In another bowl, break up the corned beef with a fork. Add the potato, sweetcorn and Worcester sauce and mix. Shape mixture into 12 cakes and chill for 30 minutes.
2. Preheat oven to 190C/Gas 5. Spread the breadcrumbs on a baking tray; bake for 5 minutes.
3. Beat the egg with a tablespoon of oil. Dip each crispbake in the egg and then coat with crumbs. Bake for 14 minutes.
