Sift together flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and add to creamed mixture.
Mix in rolled oats.
When everything is well-mixed, add chocolate chips and nuts.
To bake, drop batter with ice cream scoop onto greased cookie sheets, about 6 to a sheet, and bake at 350 degrees until lightly brown on edges and chewy in the middle, about 15 minutes. DO NOT overbake or cookies will be quite tough.
*I use a pampered chef medium scoop to drop dough, and bake about 12 minutes. After I take them out of the over, I let them sit a minute or two before I take them off of the cookie sheet.
