Suggest a better descriptionPut the water and sugar in a saucepan. Stir until the sugar has dissolved, then add the cranberries and bring to the boil. Cook for 5-10 minutes or until the berries begin to pop. Do not overcook them. Stir in the brandy. Leave to cool for 1 hour or so before serving.
