Suggest a better descriptionDrain sardines and reserve the sauce. Combine tomato sauce and sardine sauce. Combine crumbs and cheese. Roll sardines in flour, dip in tomato sauce, and roll in crumb mixture. Place in a single layer in a fry basket. Fry in deep fat, 350 F, for about a minute or until brown. Drain on absorbent paper and serve with cocktail sauce and sliced lemon.
