Suggest a better descriptionusing the crock pot to BAKE POTATOES! I had to try it. It was so simple as once you cleaned and scrubbed to potatoes to remove dirt, you salt them and cover them lightly in oil, poke a few holes in them to allow the steam to escape and wrap them in tinfoil. That is IT! You place them in the crock pot on low for around 8 hours and then your whole family has hot baked potatoes, and we can add toppings and dinner is ready instantly. We like the traditional toppings of sour cream, chives and some butter. Sprinkle some cheese and a dash of salt and pepper and its done.
