Perfect crock pot meal for barbeque sandwiches in the evening.
Place one sliced onion at the bottom of the crockpot.
Stud the roast with cloves and season with salt and pepper. Place the roast on top of the onion, and cover with the second sliced onion. Add in water.
Cover and cook on low for 8 to 12 hours, or high for 6 hours.
Remove the roast to a cutting board or plate, and pull out and discard the cloves. Discard all that remains in the crockpot, and clean it.
When the roast cools, use your fingers or two forks to pull apart and shred the roast... discarding any fat. Return the shredded pork to the crockpot, and mix in the BBQ sauce. Cover and heat on high until heated through.
Serve on crusty rolls.
