Suggest a better descriptionMelt the butter over a medium heat in a small frying pan. Add the flour and fry for a few minutes. Then add the milk, one tbsp at a time, stirring continuously. Season to taste and set aside.
Butter the bread slices on one side only. Place 4 of the slices, buttered side down, on a clean surface and spread the bechamel sauce on top. Then place the ham on top of the sauce, followed by the mustard, the Morbier, and top with the remaining 4 slices of bread, buttered slices outward.
Over a medium heat, fry the sandwiches for a few minutes each side, until the bread is golden brown and the cheese has melted.
