Brown burger in large skillet; drain.
Add onions, garlic and all dry herbs and spices. Stir until well mixed; remove from heat.
In a large pot combine beans, tomato sauce and paste, and all liquids. Heat on low flame until hot and add burger mixture.
Simmer to reduce slightly and intensify flavors.
Dad's favorite way to eat chili: Put 6 or 8 hamburger dill slices in bottom of bowl, and 6 or 8 saltine crackers, crumbled. place your favorite kind of cheese on top of crackers, and ladle hot chili on top. Allow to sit long enough to melt cheese, stir everything together and enjoy!
