Amazing and simple!
Brown lean ground beef, then drain the grease off. (about a lb. and a 1/2)
Chop a large green bell pepper and one large sweet onion. (Vidalia is a sweet one)
Add to drained, browned ground beef with a few petals of fresh garlic, minced.
Cook till onion is transparent. Add one 16 oz. can of diced tomatoes and one 24oz. can of tomato sauce.
Boil water with a tsp salt and stir in an ample 2 cups of macaroni noodles. Boil for 8 to 10 minutes until just tender. Drain in a colander, then stir into the meat sauce. Sprinkle sugar over all, to taste. (probably about 3 Tbsp.)
