Description
It’s easy to use this basic recipe to create different flavored shakes. Simply omit the cocoa powder and replace the vanilla extract with another extract, like mint, banana, or strawberry. You can also make convenient single-serving portions for busy mornings (see Tip below).
Directions
Place all the ingredients, except the ice, in a blender and blend until smooth. Store in the fridge until ready to consume (it will thicken when stored overnight). Add ½ to 1 cup crushed ice to each glass just before serving.
TIP: Make on-the-go servings for one or more! Prepare one or more double batches and store the extra in the freezer in single-serving to-go cups. Grab one on your way to work or school, and by the time you’re hungry, the drink will be thawed.
