Suggest a better descriptionGrease a 9-inch loaf pan or tube pan, line with brown paper and grease again. Combine flour, baking powder and salt. Mix well with dates and pecans. Beat eggs and sugar well. Add vanilla and mix well with fruit mixture. Put in pan and bake in preheated 275-degree oven 1 1/2 hours. Remove from oven to cooling rack, removing brown paper.
