These make tasty cookies or ornament.
1 - Combine first 4 ingredients and set aside.
2 - Cream butter and sugar in a large mixing bowl until light and fluffy; blend in corn syrup and vanilla. Gradually blend in flour mixture; divide the dough in half, wrapping each in plastic wrap and refrigerating until chilled (about 30 minutes).
3 - Roll out one portion of dough between 2 pieces of wax paper to 1/4" thickness; cut into shapes with a cookie cutter. Cut out designs from shapes with a paring knife or mini cookie cutters to make the "windowpanes."
4 - Repeat with remaining dough. Arrange on lightly greased foil-lined baking sheets. Place in freezer for 10 minutes. Fill cut out areas with colored candy pieces. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Transfer cookies and foil to cooling racks.
