This is a good recipe to fix if you have an outside burner on your grill -- keep the greasy mess outside! But it's all worth it when you taste those crispy, tangy fried pickles!
Combine flour, salt and pepper in a pie pan. Put panko in another pie pan. In a shallow bowl, whisk eggs and water. Heat oil to 350?. Roll pickles in flour, 3/4 cups at a time, coating all sides. Drop chips into egg wash to wet them, then dredge in panko, coating all sides. Drop chips in oil, separating with a slotted spoon. Flip and move around 2-3 minutes until golden. Drain on paper towel.
Good served with spicy southwest dressing, or ranch.
