A great way to eat sausages. Easy and yum.
Separate the sausages. In an oven dish or small roasting pan in which they will fit in one layer, mix the level spoons of sugar, cornflour, mustard, celery salt and salt. Add the liquids and stir until smooth.
Chop the peeled onion and the unpeeled but cored apple into 1cm cubes and stir into the mixture.
Place the sausages in 1 layer in the pan, poor over the mixture and cover tightly with a lid or foil. Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees celsius for 1 hour, or 170 degrees celsius for 1.5 hours, turning the sausages in the sauce once or twice during this time.
Stir in half a cup of extra liquid (water, beer or wine) before serving if the sauce is too thick.
